Another year has come and gone and 2006 was truly a blessed year for us at The Tabernacle of the Lord.  The Holy Ghost moved in our midst and many of our youth were filled with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.  We had some wonderful meetings this year starting in Toccoa, Georgia, and ending with our Old Fashion Night Services in October.   The Lord Jesus performed many miracles in our midst this year and we would like to thank and praise Him for mercy and grace towards His children.  Here are some highlights from 2006:

 

 

We had 32 baptisms this past year and we pray that our Lord Jesus continues to guide these new believers and may they dedicate their lives completely to Him.

 

 

 

This past Easter we were once again in Cuautitlán Izcalli.  We had many young people come into the prayer line at the end of service wanting the Baptism of the Holy Ghost.  There were many miracles that our Lord performed amount the Mexican believers, one I will never forget occured when an elderly woman who was in a wheel chair received her healing and got up out of her wheelchair and walked.  We were blessed to be there in fellowship with believers of like faith. This was also the last trip our Bro. Peter Howansky took with us before he passed on.

 

 

 

This year's meetings were outstanding.  We had great services and the Lord performed many miracles during the meetings. One particular testimony of note occured on Saturday night, the people were worshiping the Lord after the preaching of the Gospel and the Holy Spirit moved in among the people. One brother got so drunk on the Spirit that he was going around the building just worshiping the Lord and the next thing I knew he was running towards the platform with his 6 year old son in his arms.  They both were screaming Glory in Spanish because God had instantly healed his son who was a mute.  Another great year fellowshipping with the believers in Nogales, MX.

  

We had 13 speakers during our 2 weeks of meetings in September.  It was truly a time of revival and renewal for the believers.  The Lord blessed us during these meetings through the ministering of the Word by His servants. 

 

 

This past year we once again had our Old Fashioned Night Services.  It was a time of fellowship around the Word of the Lord and a blessing to us all.

 

 

 

There were many testimonies of healing and miracles that the Lord performed for us this year and we can never thank Him enough.  Sis. Linda Gibson in August 2005 was given 3 months to live.  Our church prayed and believed with her for her healing and when she went back to the doctors this past year she was given a clean bill of health with no trace of cancer. 

 

Sis. Annette Carver was also healed from various health problems.  The doctors were not sure she would survive but our Lord brought her through these trials.  Praise the Lord.
