    Update on Sis. Linda Gibson's surgery - Day 18

     

    Day 18 

    Sis. Linda is doing excellent.  Her back and legs are re-gaining their full strength.  She is getting to the point where she can go for longer periods of time without needing the aid of a walker.  If her progress continues at the current pace, she should be coming home on Wednesday February 27th.
     
    Praise the Lord for His goodness and mercies towards her.  We would like to thank all those who continue to pray for her and those who visited her.

    Baptism of Joshua and Kelly Cash

     
    Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

    On Sunday February 3, 2008, I baptized Bro. Joshua and Sis. Kelly Cash, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.  May our Heavenly Father bless and guide them, and may they dedicate their lives to be witnesses for Him.

    Update on Sis. Linda Gibson's surgery - Day 5

     

    Day 5

     
    Today Sis. Linda was moved from the ICU ward to a regular room.  She will soon begin rehabilitation to strengthen her legs and back.
     
    We thank the Lord Jesus for her steady recovery and we thank you for your continual prayers.

    Update on Sis. Linda Gibson's surgery - Day 2

     

    Day 2

     
    I am happy to report that the second part of Sis. Linda's surgery went very well.  The surgery lasted approximately 8 hours, and her doctors believe the damage to her spine has been successfully repaired. 
     
    We thank the Lord Jesus for His goodness and mercy and we thank you for your prayers.  Please continue to remember her in prayer as she begins the healing process.

    Update on Sis. Linda Gibson's Surgery - Day 1

     

    Day 1

     
    Sis. Linda's surgery went very well today and her doctors were pleased with the result.  The surgery lasted between 5-6 hours and she is now sedated and resting comfortably in ICU.  The second part of the surgery will be performed tomorrow before noon, and will possibly last around 6-8 hours.  
     
    Please continue to remember her in your prayers.  She is expected to be in hospital for 2 weeks.
