    A Miracle Working God

Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits- who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion
    Psalm 103:3-4

"But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds," declares the LORD.
     Jeremiah 30:17

May this testimony be an inspiration to all those who read it.

On Saturday September 8, 2007, a few brothers, myself and my young nephew Daniel Whitehead decided to go for a short bike ride.  All was going well until we reached a spot where the straight road became a series of curves.  We told Daniel to be careful with the use of his brakes going around these curves as they could be dangerous.  He is a new rider and so does not have much training.  Unfortunately as we came upon some curves Daniel could not negotiate the curve properly.  He flew off his bike and landed on his head.  When I reached him he was still and his arm was bent under him.  I had to call his name three times before he responded. The brothers and I immediately began to call on the Lord.  Daniel could not remember the accident.  When the EMT arrived they said they thought he had broken his arm, sustained a concussion and possibly broken his hip.  He was airlifted to Greenville Hospital to the ICU.

We were told that 2 people died at that same spot last weekend.  We all began to pray and trust the Lord as his condition seemed very serious.  Approximately an hour and a half later I called the hospital to find out his progress and I was told that he had not broken a single bone and he did not have a concussion.  Praise the Lord!

We serve a miracle working God and He is so good and gracious to us.  We can never fully express our gratitude for His loving kindness and tender care, which He gives to us each and every day.

    God Bless You,
